Kirkpatrick andHelen (Thomas) Kirkpatrick,She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leland Compton, her brother, Virgil Kirkpatrick and grandson, Kameron Flynn.Colleen and Leland were the parents of Three Daughters: Cheryl (Richard) McCracken, Longview, TX Charla Flynn, Carmel, IN Renee Reed, Zionsville, IN Two Sons: Doug (Connie) Compton, Jonesboro, IN Scott Compton , Greenfield, IN They were the grandparents of 11 Grand Children and 14Great-Grand Children with two on the way. nt to the Grant County Commissioners in Marion, Indiana from which she retired in December 2004.Over the years, Colleen was a great fan of the Madison-Grant Argylls, the Purdue Boilermakers, the Pacers and the Colts.Her most beloved job was always as wife, mother and grandmother, for which her family will be eternally grateful.They will greatly miss and cherish their memories of her strength, her kindness, her generosity, her innate morality and wisdom, which she shared unreservedly.
