Jeffrey Alan Davis

Upland: Jeffrey A. Davis, 53, passed away Saturday morning with family by his side, at St. Vincent's Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born in Marion the son of Marry Jane Davis, Upland, and the late Oren Davis. Jeffrey was a 1980 graduate of Eastbrook High School. He was an Army Veteran serving from 1980-1984. He was decorated as a Sharpshooter (Rifle) and Expert (Hand Grenade), Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon. On June 6, 1996, he married Polly (Dellinger) in Mt. Jackson, VA. Jeffrey was most recently employed as a security guard with ESG Security, Indianapolis, and previously was a truck driver with Red Gold. He enjoyed playing his guitar and assembling military vehicle models. Survivors include his wife, Polly Davis, Anderson; mother, Mary Jane Davis, Upland; step-son, Jason Dellinger, Anderson; step-daughter, Angela Seal, Woodbridge, VA; brothers, Stephen Davis, Tucker, GA, Kevin Davis, Upland; sister-in-law, Diana Davis, Jonesboro; three step grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Garry Davis, in 2011. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
