Roy W. Young Sr. (Peanut) , age 63, of Upland, IN, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, after an extended illness. He was born to Marvin Young and Delphia (Cawthorn) Young in Edmonton, Kentucky on December 22, 1950. He retired from Thompson consumer Electronics in 2006. He married Cheryl Rajean (Brown) Young on January 20, 1968 in Marion, Indiana. She survives in Upland. They have three Sons: Roy Wayne (Kimberly) Young, Fairmount, IN James (Jonna) Young, Summitville, IN Tim (Amy) Young, Gas City, IN 9 Grandchildren; Chris, Cody, Tyler, Noah, Connor, Hanna, Kyle, Nolan and Avery. 4 Step-Grandchildren; Justin Austin Fidler and Hunter and Madisyn Wolf. 7 siblings; Earl (Linda) Young, Frankton, IN Jeff (Julie) Young, Edmonton, KY Dorothy Cawthorn, Frankton, IN Jewell (Raymond) Hurt, Austin, IN Donnita Young, Edmonton, KY Rita (Mike) Bryant, Edmonton, KY Marylou Bryant, Edmonton, KY Roy loved spending time with his grandchildren.
