Emma Louise Garrett, 68, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017, at home with her family by her side. She was born on September 24, 1948 in Missouri to the lateElbertHollis and Margaret Irene (Jennings) Ponder. She met hersoul mate, Dennis Garrett, and they were married on October 11, 1966. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2000. Emma loved to garden and watch NASCAR and she always enjoyed a good party. She was such a great cook that her biscuits and gravy were very well known. She was very family oriented. She loved others more than she loved herself. She loved to be around her family. She was an amazing wife, parent, grandparent, and friend. Everyone who met her didnt get away without a loving hug. In one word, she was described as a saint.
