Troy D. Mundy

Troy D. Mundy, 67, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019, at Marion General Hospital. Troy was born to the late John and Freeda Mundy on October 30, 1951. He married Cathy Chenoweth on November 14, 1987, and she survives. Troy worked for Thompson Consumer Electronics until they closed, as a machine attendant, and then worked in maintenance at Walmart. He was a member of Marion Memorial Tabernacle. Troy enjoyed country music, watching old westerns, and was a great wood carver. He was extremely witty, keeping everyone around on their toes with his jokes. Most of all, Troy loved doting on his grandchildren; they were his world. Troy is survived by his wife, Cathy; five children, Stacey (Phillip) Brown, Marion, Troy Shane Mundy, MO, Angela (Travis) Miller, Warren, Toby (Kelly) Huey, Gas City, and Stacie (Jody) Huey, Marion; eight grandchildren, Victoria, Alexis, Lauryn, Tyler, Jacob, Peyton, Jodi, and Aidan; two sisters, Brenda (Larry) Jeffries, Fairmount, and Deborah Wilkerson, Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.
