Stephen Michael Drake

Stephen Michael Drake, 72, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019, in Marion, Indiana. He was born on August 8, 1947, to Henry Buggs Drake Jr. and Vivienne Ellen (Wages) Drake, in Marion. Michael was homeschooled and attended St. Paul Parish. He worked in Kays Kitchen at St. Martin Community Center and before that, he worked at Opportunity Industries (Carey Services). He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Parish. Michael was a member of the Branson Club, and he competed in the Special Olympics. He loved playing the guitar and the banjo. He really enjoyed art and loved drawing. He was a big fan of Michael Jackson, Elvis and Garth Brooks. Michaels family would like to give a special thank you to Michelle, Mary, and Jessica of St Vincent Hospice for taking amazing care of him and treating him and his family like family. Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, there will be a visitation held for family and friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., with the funeral beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Father Christopher Roberts officiating.
