Isabella Maria Rizzo (Turchiano), 73, a resident of Glendale, Arizona, passed on Thursday, July 23, 2020 to join her mother & father, sister, brothers and friends with her loving family holding her hand and by her side. Born on March 28, 1947, her name means "Beautiful" in Italian which was evident to everyone who knew her. Beautiful inside and out, she was born and grew up in Brooklyn, New York with her big family and then relocated in 1982 to Glendale, Arizona with her husband and daughters. She was known for her sassy, strong will, amazing cooking, always keeping her house open to all, big parties, endlessly devoted to her husband's endeavors and her daughters adventures. She was passionate about loving her grandchildren and spoiling them as much as she could. She was rooted with a strong faith in God and passionate about instilling that faith in her children and grandchildren. She approached life with selflessness, humor, love, strength, feistiness, compassion, and a fierce loyalty. She will be forever missed by her loving and devoted husband, Vincent, and children Christina Jones (fiance Richard Grow), Tanine Rizzo, Regina Rizzo, Elizabeth Rizzo (husband Matthew Farmer). She leaves behind her adoring grandchildren Alyssa, Regina, Johnathon, Vincent, Matteo, Giovanni, Isabella, Logan and Colin in addition to cherished siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. We are aware of the current world pandemic and are taking all the precautions we can. The family has chosen to move forward with the following arrangements and will be following social distancing and mask requirements (we respectfully understand if you are unable to attend) A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 30, 2020, 9:45 am (MST) at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W.
