Jarrod Christopher Champine was born to Ron Champine and Barbara (Gares) Eaton on January 21,1983 in Grosse Pointe, MI alongside his twin brother J.P. In no time the two were inseparable, getting into everything, playing hockey and speaking in their own secret language that truly only they could understand. In 1985, Jarrod and J.P. became big brothers to their sister Annette, who Jarrod affectionately nick-named Nettie. Jarrod was a thoughtful little boy who enjoyed sports and excelled in school. As he grew, he continued to play a myriad of sports- ultimately finding his passion, hockey, and following it all throughout his adult life. Jarrod also enjoyed the escape of movies and traveling. Jarrod attended Western University and Wayne State University to earn his Bachelor's degree in Business. He pursued a career in business and landed on his calling in Commercial Real Estate in 2013. Jarrod worked diligently, developed strong relationships and was beginning to enjoy the fruits of his labor. lcomed their second daughter, Madison, in 2016. Their son Leo was born on Valentine's Day of 2018 completing their family of five. Jarrod had a fierce love for his children. He was often seen kissing them on the tops of their heads, dancing with them or snuggling with them. He had recently purchased the home of his dreams and in many ways their life was just getting started. Jarrod is survived by his children, Charlotte, Madison, Leo and his partner Maria. His mother Barbara Eaton (the late Gary Eaton) and father Ron Champine. His brother J.P. Champine and his children Nolan and Cameron, his sister Annette Hofmann (Drew) and their children Elsa, Lukas, and Nico. His Step siblings Tracy Krafl (Scott) and their children Ryan, Evelyn and Meghan, Allison Rogers (Rob), and Marty Eaton (Jessica) and their sons Parker and Jack. He will be remembered for his big heart, quick witted humor, gentle approach, loyal companionship, successful career and deep love for his family.
