It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reverend William Edward Laney (Lake City, Florida), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 70, A loving Husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his father William Tatum Laney, mother Martha Jeanette Laney Sisters Sheila Diane Miller, Cathy Lynn Laney and brother James Gregory Laney. He is survived by his wife Tammy Jo Brinkley Laney, brother Anthony Lamar Laney, sisters Teresa Ann Laney, Linda sue Jacobs and Sharon Yvonne Bryan. Children Carlton Laney, Christina Moore, Steven Laney, Heather Bartleson, BobbieJo Hudgins, and Scotty Hudgins. Grandchildren Julianna Messersmith, Megan Mohsin, Randy Laney, Sean Laney, Shane Laney, Caleb Swanson, Kolby Wilkinson, Tyler Dannatt, Gabriel Hall, Peyton Smith, Nathan Couture, Cadance Couture, Ethan Swanson, Johnny Bartleson, Logan Laney and Ellie Dannatt. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21st 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the First Full Gospel Church (288 NE Jones Way, Lake City, Florida 32055).
