Pieter A. Swanepoel

Pieter A. Swanepoel, age 58, of Cumming, GA, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, August 17, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Pieter had a passion for fishing throughout his entire life and he adored the great outdoors. He always enjoyed yardwork and belonged to a local dart league. He was always thought of as the "Lion" of the neighborhood and beyond. He was so loved by friends all over the world and brought laughter to all. He loved his family dearly and would do anything he could for them. He was full of faith and love and never once lost it. Pieter served in the Airforce in South Africa and played Rugby and continued to love the sport. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gert and Gezina Swanepoel. He is survived by his loving wife, Liana Swanepoel; daughters, Ania-Lee and Liandrie Swanepoel; siblings, Ansie (Pietie) Estherhuizen, Gert (Adrie) Swanepoel, Jr. and Bertus (Edna) Swanepoel; brothers and sisters-in law, Arnes (Helene) Du Preez, Rian (Marina) Du Preez, Kallie (Elize) Du Preez, Elzabe (Tewie) Brand, and Deidre (Jaco) Botha; faithful friends Lady and Winston (Winnie); along with many other loving relati...[more]

and friends. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
