Ernest Friday, 63 In the early hours of Tuesday 7th June 2016, Ernest Alvin Friday entered into eternal rest peacefully. Ernest is survived by his mother (Shirley Caroline Savoury), his three children (Toreanna Sherdenia Friday, age 26, Tyesha Audrey Friday, age 24 and Tamieka Shirley Elizabeth Friday, age 21). Ernest was born May 22nd 1953 in Grenada, The West Indies. At the age of 18, he entered the United States Air Force. Most commonly known as "Friday", the majority of his active duty was spent at Lakenheath Base in England. In 1992, Friday retired from the USAF and a few years later returned to the United States. He resided in Omaha, Nebraska and continued working as a Medical Administrator at the Offutt Air Base. Friday accomplished greatness both on the pitch as well as off the pitch. In addition to being a passionate sportsman, in particular an outstanding football player, he was also known for his interest in current worldwide affairs. Beyond this, Friday was a devoted father and anyone who knew him would hear the stories about his "babies". Friday's devotion did not just stop at family.
