Phoebe "Liz" Elizabeth Van Brunt

Liz Van Brunt passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2020 at the age of 95. Liz spent her childhood in Napa, California with her parents Ralph & Ethel Hunter and her big sister Fran. In 1945 she met the love of her life W.R. (Stub) Van Brunt. They started their married life in Omak, Washington and eventually settled in Wickenburg, Arizona, where they raised their family. They had three children, Susie Carter, Ross Van Brunt, and Gary Van Brunt. While the children were growing up Liz volunteered her time with the local 4-H club and Rainbow Girls. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star. Liz spent many years working for the local drug store starting with Revco which eventually became CVS. She retired from CVS in Phoenix at the age of 88. Liz enjoyed gardening, watching butterflies, and doing crossword puzzles. She found joy spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Liz will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her. [more]
