Obituary of Carol G. Spagnola Carol (Gangemi) Spagnola Rochester - Peacefully, August 21, 2020, surrounded by her family at age 74. Predeceased by her husband, Michael Spagnola and parents Rocky and Elvy Gangemi. She is survived by her children: daughter, Renee (Scott) Murphy; son Mark (Deanna) Spagnola; grandchildren: Michael and Julianna Murphy, Julia, Emma and Anna Spagnola; sister, Joyce Carnevale; brother and sister-in-law; Dr. Richard and Josie Gangemi; sisters-in-law: Marlene Kerr and Michele (Matthew) Coffee of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family and many friendships. She was a longtime member of Ridgemont Country Club and loved sharing her talents volunteering at St. John's, Memorial Art Gallery, Italian Women's Civic Club, McQuaid Invitational, and many others. No prior calling. Friends may attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 26th at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Road., Rochester. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
