Juanita June Dieterle, age 95, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020.
Juanita was born on December 12, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Donald and Beatrix (Cooper) Perkins and raised along with her two siblings, Audrey and Donald, in the Ann Arbor area. She met and married Ernest Frederick Dieterle and together they settled in Ann Arbor to raise their children, Trudy Louise and David Michael.
Ernest and Juanita were avid bowlers and were members of the Ann Arbor Bowling Hall of Fame. They enjoyed spending time with their friends while bowling in various local leagues. Juanita was also known for her beautiful and intricate quilts and sewing projects. She often would give quilts to friends and family as a token of her love.
She was predeceased in death by her husband, Ernest Frederick Dieterle; her daughter, Trudy Louise Dieterle; her parents, Donald and Beatrix Perkins; and her siblings, Audrey Loaghmiller and Donald Perkins Jr.
Juanita will be missed by her son, David M. Dieterle; step-children, Barbara Peters and Peggy Fargher; her grandchildren, Dakota and Dakayla; and step-grandchildren, Jill, Jeff, Brian, Jason, and Wendy.
