Vernetta Arlene Goff, 84, of Camanche, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at her home in Camanche. Services will be held at 12:00PM, Noon, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Her grandchildren will be pallbearers. Vernetta was born August 15, 1936 in Lyons, Iowa, the daughter of Vernon and Edna (Fenzel) Young. She was a 1955 Clinton High School graduate. Vernetta married Leigh Goff December 29, 1957 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton.

She had been employed at Rialto Movie Theaters, was an operator for the Telephone Company, worked at Schaffer Pen and Paper Company in Fort Madison, PFC, McManus Warehousing and retired from Economy Coatings, Camanche.

Vernetta enjoyed dancing and doing puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Warren Young; brother-in-law, Loren Redman and sisters-in-law, Janice Young and Margaret Young.
