Beverly Buechner passed away peacefully on September 5th, 2020 after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Survived by her husband of 50 years Gerald Buechner; children Gregg (Wendy) and Scott (Ally); grandchild Bryce, brother Jerry Behme (Bonnie); sister Nikki Knockemus (Greg), Joanne Irwin (Andy); godson Mark Irwin and many nieces and nephews including Chris 'cowboy' Behme.
Born in Pine River, Minnesota, Beverly graduated from Pine River High School, then attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth Minnesota. Her studies prepared her for a long and wonderful career in 'Elementary School Education.' After 10 years of teaching 3rd grade in Minnesota schools, Bev came to Arizona in 1969 in search of a new adventure in a warm climate. She then found what she wanted when The Scottsdale Unified School District hired her as a 3rd-grade teacher for Hohokam Elementary School.
