David L. Carter

David L. Carter, age 67, passed away early Thursday, September 24, 2020. He was born on June 26, 1953 to Willard and Mabel (Carlson) Carter in Muskegon, MI. He was a carpenter and builder by trade working independently for many years. David was known to be an intelligent and witty man with a close circle of friends. He will always be remembered for just telling it like it is and never sugar coating anything! He was an avid skier and loved to spend his time on the river steelhead fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister, Joyce (Tom) Voyt; brother, Edwin "Ned" (Kathy) Carter; dear friends, Nick (Kari) Freye, Jason (Meghan) Freye, Leslie (Andy) Stafford, Patrick Freye and James "Jimmy" Newville.
