David A. Michael, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at his home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. David is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary; his son Matt (Dez) of Fort Dodge; his daughter Sarah (Noah) of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Taya and Trevor of Kansas City; mother-in-law Bernice Hovey; sisters Marilyn Richardson, Nancy Herzberg and Mary (Bob) Jones; brother Gary Michael; sister-in-law Chris Hovey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
