Brenda Joyce Hewett

Brenda J. Hewett, age 74, went home to be with her Lord on October 22, 2020, Brenda was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and met the love of her life, her husband Hubert of Davey, Florida. Brenda lived a life that exemplified her name and in doing so left a legacy for all that knew and loved her. The doors to her home and her heart were always open. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, her gentle spirit, her forgiving nature, her inner and outer strength, and her unwavering faith. She was a member of The Lighthouse Church of Orange Springs. Brenda attended and graduated Fire College and went on to spend her career employed by Marion County Fire Department for 35 Years. She was the 1st female hired and the second to be hired in Marion County. She loved crafting, flea marketing, playing cards/games and spending time with her family, and lets not forget how much she loved her bologna sandwiches. wo daughters Jackie (Dalco) Headden, and Loretta Hunter, all of Orange Springs, FL. She will also be remembered by her 7 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren who she loved very much. She also had numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
