er who truly cared about everyone she met. She always saw the best in everyone and will be greatly missed. Lois was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1989 and was given a short time to live. However, through the power of prayer she made it another 24 years. Lois lived in a retirement apartment in Carroll when she could no longer live at home and then entered St. Anthony Nursing Home in April of 2011. She died there late Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the age of 91 years and 4 days. Preceding Lois in death are her parents and husband. She is survived by her four children: Gerald Hill and wife Bonnie of Deloit; Richard Hill of Honolulu, HI; Charlie Hill and wife Pat of Carroll and Scott Hill of Ogden; six grandchildren Tony Hill, Brian Hill, Jason Hill, Rob Jensen, Ryan Jensen and Ashley Cockrum; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers Dr. Bill Erps and wife Katherine of Carroll and Bob Erps and wife Wanda of Arcadia; two sisters Elaine and husband Calvin Berge of Carson City, NV and Ruth and husband Jim Buddenhagen of Humboldt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
