On February 13, 1960, Daryl was united in marriage with Carole Ann Rostermundt at
In 1966, the family moved to the Manilla area. He worked as a technician for Bauer Lindsey Soft Water,
Daryl especially loved being with his family and taking road trips and vacations with his wife. His passion was deer hunting which he had enjoyed since his youth in the timbers near the Chapman family farm. Hunting became a family tradition with his sons, grandsons, and brothers. Daryl enjoyed nature and was an outdoorsman. His hobbies were creative welding and collecting deer, wildlife and American Indian figurines and wall decorations. He enjoyed spending time with his relatives and friends, playing cards, telling stories and jokes. Daryl will be remembered for his warm heart, generosity, and acceptance of others.
