Robert Whiting

Robert Whiting (Fish) was born March 28th, 1964 to parents William and Rosemary Whiting in Adams, New York. Robert passed away on Saturday October 17th, 2020 and is survived by his loving wife Lynn, son Nickolas (Pam) Whiting of San Deigo, CA. Andrew (Stefaine) Whiting of Morriston, FL, Robert Jr. of Dunnellon and daughter (aka the princess) Sarah of Dunnellon. He had 8 grand children. He was an excellent grandfather who loved spending time with the grandkids when he could. He is also survived by seven sibligns, Peggy Bower, Lake Charles, LA. William Whiting, Adams, NY. Michael Whiting, Adams, NY. Daniel Whiting Mannsville, NY. Kathy Wheeler Mannsville, NY. Lorri Monroe Adams, NY. and colleen Fowler Adams Center, NY. His brother Thomas and parents preceded him. He had several nieces and nephews. Robert graduated from South Jefferson High School in Adams, NY , worked construction, then went onto joining the US Coast Guard where he was amechanic. He went to school at Riverside Aviation in Utica, NY and Pennsylvania Aviations School, Part of Penn State to complete his studies. They moved to their home in Dunnellon, FL in 1996. He worked for several airlines and contract companies over the years allowing him to travel. He was called Fish by his coworkers at Allegiant Airlines. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. One of his biggest passions was working on his cars. He planned on restoring his mustang one for him and one for his wife. He left this earth too young and will be missed by many.
