Anker Marilyn Doermann, daughter of Paul Edgar and Gladys Evanna Irwin Muchow, was born March 9, 1933, in Eliza, Illinois. She attended school in Joy, Illinois. On November 5, 1955, Marilyn was united in marriage to Lavern Herman Carl Doermann in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Marilyn was a devoted homemaker who took special pride in her grandchildren. Always there for those in need, she volunteered her time and energy at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Marilyn is loved and missed by her husband, Lavern Doermann, of Tipton, Iowa; a daughter, Sally Lee Ann Christophersen, and Greg Beck, of Davenport, Iowa; her two sons, David Michael Doermann, and wife, Lanelle, of Sabula, Iowa; and Thomas Edgar Doermann, and Cindy Wurr, of Tipton, Iowa; her grandchldren, Ty Lucas Doermann, and his wife, Brandy, Amanda Lynn Christophersen, Beth Nicole Christophersen, Jacob Stephen Christophersen, Zachary Thomas Doermann, Taylor Lynn Doermann, Jason James Wurr and Bradley Joseph Wurr; extended family, Mark Christophersen, Teresa King, Kris Ramos and Helen Neuman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gladys Muchow, and sister, Jennie Lucile Wagner.[more]
