Padmaja Meka

Padmaja Meka, 68 years old of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away Nov 19, 2020 after a courageous seven year battle with Ovarian Cancer. Padmaja Meka was born July 24, 1952 to Prasad Rao and Hymavati Bondalapati. She was married to Venkata Rao Meka on December 6th in Dalliparru, Andhra Pradesh, India. Padmaja was known for her infectious smile and loving personality. She loved being a grandmother to her three grandsons and loved traveling, especially to her favorite destination of Las Vegas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Prasad Rao and Hymavati Bondalapati; husband, Venkata Rao Meka; and her son, Srinivasu Meka. Padmaja is survived by her daughter, Madhavi Arora; son-in-law, Rahul Arora; and grandsons, Akhil, Ashay and Ajan. She is also survived by her brother, Sivaji Babu Bondalapati; sister-in-law, Sujatha Bondalapati; sister, Rani Prameela Yalamanchili; brother-in-law, Babu Rao Yalamanchili; nieces, Radhika Munugoti and Rajitha Boer; and her nephews Sridhar Yalamanchili and Srikant Bondalapati.
