at completed her education journey when she obtained her Masters from the University of Nebraska in 2004. In her later years, Pat enjoyed spending time at her lake house and boat rides on Twin Lakes with family and friends. She was also fortunate to take several trips to explore Europe with her friends. Pat loved hosting holiday gatherings with her family and cherished their time together. She always had an abundance of food and gifts to share with all. She had a special type of patience with the grandkids and embraced their enthusiasm. The grandkids loved how silly and calm she was with them. The annual summer trips to Adventureland in Des Moines with her grandchildren was something they all looked forward to. She will be deeply missed by her loving children and spouses, David (Maria) Hock, Merritt Island, Florida, Scott (Amy) Hock, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Chloris (Chris) Eggert, Ames, Iowa, and Colette (Ryan) O'Donnell, Bettendorf, Iowa; grandchildren, Ryan Hock, Nicholas Hock, Alivia Hock, Cason Eggert, Camden Eggert, Aden O'Donnell, and Reese O'Donnell; siblings JoAnn (Bud) Vaught, Artha (Gary) Labath, Janice Oberhart, and Michael (Marge) Cooper. The beloved Aunt Pat will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Cooper; and siblings, Rose Mary Heyne, Charlene Vote, and Dennis Cooper. The funeral service will be at 11:00am on Monday, December 7th, 2020 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Manson. Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery near Knierim. A visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of the service. Masks will be required and guests will be socially distanced.
