Linda Kay Hubbard

Linda K. Hubbard, 67, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Kendall Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the church. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Survivors include her son Kieth Hubbard and his wife Heather of West Des Moines, daughter Mya Lee and her husband Chad of Fort Dodge, grandchildren Mackenzie, Kaitlynn, Emma, Madelyn, Bella, Autumn and Lillian Lee, Kayla and Grant Hubbard, mother Loretta Zimmermann of Fort Dodge, brothers Dave (Amanda) Zimmermann of Fort Dodge, Rick (Anna) Zimmermann of Otho, Larry (Kathy) Zimmermann of Fort Dodge, Dan (Jessica) Zimmermann of Madison, AL, sisters-in-law Lori Miller of Fort Dodge, Linda (Ted) Lay of Annandale, VA and Leanna Hubbard of Des Moines, brother-in-law Bob Hamlow of Fort Dodge. Fort Dodge. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1971. Linda then attended Iowa Central Community College. In 1972 she went to work for Jifi Print and was employed there for 43 years. Linda then worked at Community Daycare for 2 years till her retirement due to ill health in 2018. On August 7, 1976 she was united in marriage to Terry L. Hubbard and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Linda enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and time spent with friends. She loved to be with her family, especially her grandkids. Linda was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
