Sandra Goldstein Rosen

With great sadness, Sandra Goldstein Rosen, 84, passed away on November 30, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born December 22, 1935, in Philadelphia to Rose and Morris Goldstein. During the summer of 1953, Sandy moved to Atlanta to work for her Aunt Tilly; there, she met the love of her life, George Rosen. They were married in 1954, and nine years later they moved to Houston with their three children. They traveled extensively, and on these adventures, Sandy would add to her vast doll collection. In the late 1970s, she opened Sandy Rosen Realtors and became the first realtor in the Fondren Southwest area of Houston. A decade later, she closed up shop and joined forces working with her daughter at Village Frame Gallery. Her family considered her their north star, the light by which their lives were guided. She was Bubbie to her grandchildren and spending time with them was her greatest joy. She invested her time and was committed to raising them to be independent and strong-minded. The family wishes to thank her very special caregivers: Nikki Amanuel, Felieca Jones, and Faye Foston. A private graveside service will be held on December 1, 2020 at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery.
