came a master chair caner, caning over 1800 chairs in the Grand Haven area. Len was a member of St John's Episcopal Church in Grand Haven, was a big U of M football fan and a skilled sportsman, enjoying a lifetime of camping, hunting and fishing. He loved his family and all their various animals, horses, cats, chickens and especially dogs. Len never met a person he didn't want to talk to. Everywhere he went he would stop and talk. In fact, a trip to the grocery store was never complete until he had said hello to everyone and then came home and told his family about everyone, he had met that day. In accordance with Len's wishes, his ashes will be interred in Grand Haven Township cemetery in a private ceremony. Memorial services will be held at a future date. A tribute wall can be found at Phoenix Crematory Services website https://www.muskegoncremation.com In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harbor Humane Society of West Olive or the American Cancer Society. The family is deeply grateful for the staff at Heartwood Lodge Hospice for their wonderful care of Leonard in his final illness.
