Scott Richard Lippert

With a heavy heart and deep sadness, we share the passing of Scott (Scotty) Richard Lippert of Dexter, MI on December 8, 2020. After a valiant battle with brain cancer, Scotty died surrounded in love with his family by his side. To the very end, Scotty's quick humor, bright smile, and generous love were always on display - bringing joy and laughter to everyone in his presence. Born on December 5, 1976, in Ann Arbor, MI, to Scott Jerrain Lippert and Kathryn Ann (Hogan) Lippert. Scotty is survived by his loving parents, and caretakers in his latter days; he also leaves behind other cherished loved ones; including sister, Stacey (Lippert) Martindale; brother, Timothy Lippert; son, Dylan Towas; as well as nephews, Connor, Taevin, Rian; and niece, Lucia. He also leaves behind his lifelong partner in crime and very dear friend, Chad Ritchie. Scotty's easy humor and brilliant wit will be missed by everyone who had the fortunate opportunity to meet and spend time with him. No service will be held immediately; however, a celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
