Andrew Sobolew

Obituary of Andrew Sobolew Passed away December 10, 2020 at the age of 53. Survived by his children Alexander Sobolew, Anastassia Sobolew; step-son Ty Miller; former wife and friend Kara Traverse; father Nikolaj; brother Anatol (Sharon) Sobolew; sister-in-law Megan LaPort; several nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Alex Sobolew, his mother Ludmila Sobolew, and his aunt Tasia Sobolew. Andy received his bachelor's degree in Horticulture from SUNY Cobleskill and had a talent for creating landscape sketches. He was quite artistic, in drawing and poetry. Andy loved his children, his family and his dad. He enjoyed strategy games, and took pride in his real estate career, which started in 1998. He was a loyal friend. He enjoyed collecting historical currency and comic books. We will miss his smile and quick wit. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors and healthcare workers at URMC 4800 who worked so hard to keep him here. We are grateful. May God's blessings be on all of you.
