Carol Ann Ellsworth Canton - Carol Ann Ellsworth, 79, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Richard Owens Home in Peoria. She was born on March 20, 1941 in Virginia, IL to William and Thelma (Holt) Stephen. They preceded her in death. She married Gary Ellsworth on October 28, 1961 in Virginia, IL. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2008. Surviving are her children, Lorraine (John) Leavell of Surrey B.C., Canada, Itsie (Lori) Ellsworth of Perryville, MO, Mike (Susan) Ellsworth of Havana, Gary (Rebecca) Ellsworth of Canton, one sister, Deloris (George) Parsano of Good Hope, Nine grandchildren Shae, Nick, Lacie, Kaitlyn, Isaac, McKayla, Samantha, Mercedes, Lexus and seven great-grandchildren, Paige, Karter, Tesla, Elijah, Brooklyn, Nadalyn and Layla Also preceding her in death is one brother, Forest. Together with her husband she owned and operated Whalen Glass in Canton starting in 1964. It later became Ellsworth Glass. She was an avid gardener and could grow any type of plant or vegetable especially roses and iris. A private burial with graveside Services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
