Carol Drew

North Augusta, SC--Graveside Services for Mrs. Carol Drew, 78, who entered into rest December 18, 2020, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in Westover Memorial Park. We encourage those attending to wear a mask, and social distancing will be practiced. Mrs. Drew was a native of McDuffie County, having made North Augusta her home for nearly 30 years. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A homemaker, Mrs. Drew is remembered by her family as a great cook who enjoyed dancing, studying history, and listening to many different types of music. She also particularly loved shopping for shoes with her granddaughters. Mrs. Drew was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Henry and Annie Vera Thigpen, and her brother Jimmy Thigpen. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Harley Drew; one son, James Craig (Beth) Black, Parker, CO; one daughter, Melissa B.
