RAQUEL VILLASEÑOR (AGUIRRE) MUSCATINE, Iowa - Raquel Villaseñor (Aguirre), 67, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Trinity Bettendorf. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Online Condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com Funeral service will be on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Calvary Church, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her honor to her family. Raquel was born on October 11, 1953, the daughter of Nicolas Villamondragon and Francisca Villaseñor. In her early years, she worked at Louis Rich and Heinz, which she left to fulfill her calling to be a Pastor. She dedicated her life to The Great Commission, spreading the Gospel in Muscatine and church planting in the surrounding areas. Her faith was profound and inspiring. Her wisdom and loving kindness will forever be remembered by the many lives she touched. Raquel enjoyed crocheting, reading, writing, and studying new subjects. Those left to honor her memory include her children, Lupe Vazquez and her husband, Ramiro, of Muscatine, Javier Aguirre of Arizona, Griselda Rangel and her husband, Sabino, of Muscatine, Alex Aguirre and his wife, Leticia, of Muscatine, and Blanca Rios and her significant other, Robert Nava of Muscatine; her grandchildren, Junior Vazquez and Maritza Martinez, both of Muscatine, Mercadez and Izaac Aguirre, both of Muscatine, Xavier, Mariah, and JJ Aguirre, all of Houston, Julio and Elias Menjivar, both of Muscatine, Gabriel and Alexis Aguirre, both of Muscatine, Meyalli Estabrook of Colorado, Edik, Shane, and Anthony Mathias all of Muscatine, and Mateo Rios of Muscatine; great grandchildren, Ezra, Natalia, Elliana, and Savina; her brother Federico Garcia of Mexico; a cousin, Manuel Rodriguez of West Liberty; many nieces and nephews; and Lina Flores and her husband, Abel, of Texas, for all the love and support. She is preceded in death by her parents.
