Evelyn Hamiel

Evelyn Pearl Hamiel was born on September 8, 1907 at Mitchell South Dakota the daughter of James C. and Honor F. Collins Hamiel. Evelyn attended Mitchell High School and Grigg Court Reporting School in Chicago. She worked as a Court Reporter and was a member of the Tipton United Methodist Church, a fifty year member of the P.E.O., past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, the Searchlight Club United Methodist Women (Mary Martha Circle) and the Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club, Evelyn family includes her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Fern Hamiel Raney and five brothers, Lee, Elza, Jay, Walter and Leslie. [more]
