brought home from his service. One of Kent's great talents was working with his hands. He loved metalwork and welding which allowed him to complete a full suit of armor, many swords, bbq smokers, and other creations. He not only made a bbq smoker from scratch, but he knew how to use it to its fullest potential. He was known by many for his great cooking and would often say "If you starve around here, it's your own fault!" Kent had an excellent work ethic and always believed in putting in an honest day's work. He spent many years working in various positions in the oil and gas fields for Cameron, Lone Wolf Wireline, and Anadarko. He served his family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers endlessly and was known to be a very selfless man. He instilled his dedication and value of hard work in his children and was very proud to watch them grow into adults. He loved nothing more than to watch each of them succeed in school and grow in their own ways. He adored his two granddaughters and was honored to be known by them as the "Best Papa in the Galaxy". Kent is survived by his wife Angela Tobler Bristol, his children Sara (Jake) Bell, Brenden Bristol, Katie Bristol, his two granddaughters Brielle and Hallie Bell, and his siblings Judy Keel, Cheryl "Sherry" (Bob) Slama, and Keith Bristol. He is preceded in death by his parents Bruce Wayne Bristol and Mildred Darlene Morrill Bristol, and his brothers Ricky and Tommy Bristol.
