Whether distributing formula, diapers, baby and maternity clothing, and related supplies, directing mothers in finding medical care, housing or job training, most importantly Kay was there to listen and support them. She recruited and trained hundreds of volunteers, led fundraising and donation efforts, spoke at schools, churches, and organizations, and worked directly with families. Throughout her life, Kay received many honors for her work including the Marian Medal Award, the John Cardinal O'Connor Award, and The JC Penny Golden Rule Award. Kay was deeply loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family, and was the center of all holiday events and celebrations. Everyone was welcome in her home, and her cooking and humor were legendary. Kay enjoyed traveling, fishing, and playing ping pong with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Calling Hours for Kay will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Riendeau-Mulvey, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian burial Saturday, January 2, 2021, 10 a.m. at Saint Ann's Church, 660 North Main Street, Raynham, MA.
