Karen Diana Terry was called home on December 13, 2020.
Karen Diana Terry was born in Detroit, MI on March 10, 1955 To Gilbert and Muriel Terry. Karen had a very close relationship with her grandparents growing up. They were always there to lend a hand for Muriel who was a social worker for the State of Michigan.
Karen attended Cass Technical High School where she graduated with honors in 1973. Upon graduation Karen went to work in the radio industry having been employed at WJLB and WQBH. After retiring from the radio industry, Karen began working for Commuter Express Service where she retired for a second time in 2006 due to cardiac problems.
Karen loved to fish, work with electronics, garden, and take care of her house. Karen definitely had a way of standing out from the rest of the world, as noted in the brightness of her blue house. Karen always spoke of her travels in life, noting that the Caribbean was a favorite destination for her.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Muriel Terry. Karen is survived by her son Gerard David Terry, brother Gregory Alan (Francyne) Terry, nephew Gregory Alan Alford and a host of extended family and friends.[more]
