Edna Rominger EAST MOLINE, Ill. - Edna Rominger, 67 of Silvis, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, at Illini Hospital in Silvis, Ill. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in East Moline, Ill. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at the Carbon Cliff Cemetery in Carbon Cliff, Ill., Mrs. Rominger was born on Aug. 2, 1932 in Moline, Ill., the daughter of George an Lucille Hurd Cady. She worked as a cook at the former Country Haven Restaurant in Silvis. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Ortiz of Davenport; two sons, Bill Rominger and his wife, Tammy, of Muscatine and Jerry Rominger of Davenport; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Norma Meyer and her husband, Steve, of Toulon, Ill., Marilyn Slininger and her husband, Merle of East Moline, Ill.; two brothers, David Cady and his wife, Linda, of Colona, Ill. and Harold Cady and his wife, Jan, of Davenport; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Cady of Davenport. She is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. [more]
