, when he fell and broke his hip. He attended fairs and parades and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. He enjoyed spear carp fishing and tinkering with and repairing old machinery. He was of the Lutheran faith and a 50-year member of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 14. Survivors include one daughter, Carol J. Petersen of Plainfield; a daughter-in-law, Verda Braun of Plainfield; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several cousins in the Milford area; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Clifford in 1996; a daughter, Delores in infancy; two brothers, Archie and Harry Braun; and a sister, Elsie Knetsch.
