Rosina Hawkins COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Rosina Hawkins, 97, of Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Burial will be at the Cambrian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hawkins was born April 12, 1902, near Columbus Junction, the daughter of John and Mary Davis Williams. She married Stephen M. Hawkins on Sept. 29, 1929, in Monmouth, Ill. She was a homemaker all her life and helped her husband farm. She was a member of the Columbus City United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Survivors include her son, Willard Hawkins of Columbus Junction and a grandson, Scott Hawkins of Columbus Junction. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and an infant daughter.[more]
