Helen Gaul TIPTON - Helen Mary Gaul, 90, of Tipton, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, at the Tipton Bible Church. Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Pall bearers will include Mike Nash, Curt Nash, Matt McCoy, Steve Nash, Greg McCoy, Craig Nash and Phil McCoy. Burial will be at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. A memorial has been established for the Tipton Bible Church. Mrs. Gaul was born March 15, 1909 in Cedar County, the daughter of Orlando R. Howe and Fredricka B. Heabner-Howe. She received her education at Cedar County Schools. She married Victor Gaul, Feb. 14, 1928. She was a homemaker, farmer's wife and member of Tipton Bible Church. Survivors include her daughters: Phyllis Harmet and her husband Hal of Hinsdale, Ill. and Joyce Moore and her husband Dean of Mechanicsville; one sister: Evelyn Hayslett of Springdale; two brothers, Raymond Howe of Troy Mills and Wilson Howe of Tipton; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
