Elizabeth Randleman MUSCATINE - Elizabeth C. quot;Betty quot; Randleman, 78, of 1103 Oakland Drive, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at Unity Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, at the St. Mathias Catholic Church, 215 W. Eighth St. The Rev. Jack Gallagher will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and Paul Adkins. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. on today at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:30. Memorials may be made to the Unity Hospital Auxiliary and Gannon Hall. Mrs. Randleman was born on April 9, 1921, in Muscatine, the daughter of Carl P. and Clara Fleitz Rauch. She married Douglas A. Randleman on July 8, 1946, in Denver, Colo. She was a member of the St. Mathias Catholic Church and a life member of the Hospital Auxiliary. She graduated from St. Mathias High School and Marycrest College. She was a 50 year member of the Ladies Major League bowling with the same team. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Randleman and his wife, Beth, of Muscatine, William Randleman and his wife, Darcie, of Iowa City, and Thomas M. Randleman of Muscatine; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Burch and her husband, Jim, of Davenport; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Matthew, Nathan, and Sarah Randleman, all of Muscatine; Lily, Libby, and Tildy Randleman of Iowa City; Travis, Amanda, and Jared Burch of Davenport; one sister Ruth Ratkowski and her husband, Leonard, of Hamilton, Mont.; and an aunt, Elsa Bain of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents.
