Dean Coulter ALEDO, Ill. - Dean E. Coulter, 80, of Aledo, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at the Mercer County Hospital in Aledo. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. The Rev. Rachel Stockle of Joy United Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be at the Aledo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Joy United Methodist Church. Mr. Coulter was born Sept. 14, 1919, in Marissa, Ill., the son of Charles E. and Etta McClay Coulter. He married Rosemary Weeks, May 13, 1944, in Aledo. He attended the Marissa Schools. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He farmed in Mercer County and was a representative for the National Farmers Organization (NFO) until retiring to Aledo in 1970. He was a self-employed carpenter and an accomplished woodworker for many years. He was a member of the Joy United Methodist Church and the NFO. Survivors include his wife Rosemary; a brother, Leslie Coulter and his wife, Lorraine, of St. Charles, Mo.; a sister, Marjorie Carol and her husband, Allen, of Aledo; and several nieces and nephews.
