Frederick Fred Proper, age 82, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Visitation will be held from 9:30 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. FrederickRobert Proper was born on September 29, 1931, in Little Falls, MN, the son of Demorn & Etta (Yort) Proper.He attended school in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School in 1950.After working for Proper Plumbing and Heating, he became a pipefitter and was a proud member of Pipefitters Union Local #539.He spent most of his career as a pipefitter and retired at age 62.He was united in marriage to Carole Heurung on October 29, 1976.Fred enjoyed woodworking, collecting toy cars, and especially enjoyed his dogs. Fred is survived by his children, William (Peggy) Proper of Richmond, MN, Pat (Sadie) Hartnagel of Shakopee, MN, Mary Proper of Eagan, MN, Eric Proper of Wyoming, Cathy (Russ) Hoheisel of Zimmerman, MN, Tina (Jason) Brown of St. Cloud, MN, and Jeff (Janel) Olesch of Sartell, MN; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
