Debra Wiebel DURANT, Iowa #45;- Debra J. Wiebel, 36, of Davenport, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Davenport. Vicar Sarah Kretzmann and Rev. Del Preston will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tim Sterner, Kevin Paul, Tom George, Dan Wolf, Doug Starling, Mitch Schabilion, Paul Sales, and Kevin Hunter. Burial will be at the Dixon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Bentley Funeral Homes in Durant and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church. Mrs. Wiebel was born on Nov. 18, 1963, in Davenport, the daughter of Eldon and Arvella Ketelsen Pewe. She married Scott A. Wiebel on Aug. 18, 1984, in Dixon. She was employed at Mel Foster Insurance in Davenport. She had previously been an underwriter for American State Insurance in Bettendorf. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Davenport where she sang in the choir and was a member of Mother's Against Drunk Driving. She enjoyed camping, craft shows and bowling. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arnold and Clara Ketelsen and Gilbert Pewe Sr.
