Daniel A. Zimmermann, 66 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Monday, December 21 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN on Saturday, December 26 at 11:00 a.m. with Father. Timothy Wenzel officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. The burial will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN Daniel Anthony Zimmermann was born June 22, 1949 in Little Falls, MN to Leo and Florence (Kempenich) Zimmermann. He attended and graduated from Little Falls Community High School. He enlisted in the United States Army on September 13, 1967 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Daniel was honorably discharged on September 11, 1970 at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He served his country as a helicopter mechanic during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Little Falls. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Whitehead on September 11, 1971 in Little Falls. They moved to Missouri where he worked as a roofer. Daniel enjoyed the presence of others and their joy. Daniels greatest accumulations were moments of happiness and an awareness of Gods Blessings which were manifested in his work and play.
