Lois Alice Rodas

Lois Rodas TIPTON, Iowa #45;- Lois Alice Rodas, 73, of Tipton, died Friday, June 16, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, of heart failure. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at the Garnavillo City Cemetery in Garnavillo. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Rodas was born April 21, 1927, in Farmersburg, the daughter of Fred and Hilda Huckstedt Schrader. She married Lavern Rodas on June 17, 1959, in Garnavillo. She graduated from Farmersburg High School. She cooked for several restaurants in the Garnavillo area. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Garnavillo. Survivors include daughters, Mary Auten and her husband, Doug, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Renee Schultz and her husband, Carl, of Tipton; a sister, Betty Shady and her husband, Elmer, of Farmersburg; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, and grandson. [more]
