James E Desrosiers "Jimmy" 67 of Berkley passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2020. Jimmy leaves his wife, Jean Marie (Lopes) of 48 years, his two children David James and Taisa of Taunton and Jaime Lynn and Richard of Fall River and his grandson Dylan of Berkley. On the Desrosiers side, Jimmy is survived by his mom, Victoria of Somerset and his two sisters Mary of Somerset and Joan of Turner Falls, his niece Kim and Mark Schneider of Providence and his nephew Keith also of Turner Falls. On the Lopes side, Jimmy is survived by his mother-in-law Claire Lopes of Berkley, his sister-in-law Janet Huard of Westport, Carol and Paul Riendeau of Berkley, Grace Lopes and Matthew Combs of Berkley, nephews Bobby Huard, Eric and Kelly Huard and Kiel and Katie Huard all of Westport and Aunt, Adrienne Lemieux of Taunton. Jimmy also leaves lifelong friends Steve Lecomte and George Silvia. In addition to his family and friends, Jimmy's two loves were his dog Rex and his countless Volkswagen Beetles. Jimmy retired from Prysmian in 2019 after 35 plus years in the wire and cable industry. After retirement, Jimmy joined Jean to volunteer at St Vincent de Paul. A memorial ser...[more]
