Christopher Manuel Chavez

Christopher (Chris) M. Chavez passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Chris was born on November 3, 1983 in San Jose, CA. He was the son of Armando Chavez and Johnna Stearns. He attended St. Lawrence Elementary and Middle School and graduated from New Valley High School in Santa Clara, CA. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. immediately following high school. He graduated from the Orange Technical College as a certified HVAC Tech. Chris was a fun loving, and compassionate person. He was a great father and loved spending time with his son, Wyatt. His sense of humor connected him to all who knew him. He was an avid gamer, expert marksman and target shooter. He loved nothing more than to spend the day at the shooting range with his family and friends. He was passionate about working out and heavy metal. He enjoyed a good horror movie and loved to play billiards and darts on the weekends. He is survived by his father, Armando Chavez, his mother, Johnna Stearns, his son, Wyatt Chavez, his brother, Jonathon Chavez, his grandparents Crawford and Mary Ratliff and his fiancée Brandi Casci and her daughter Hailey.
