Floyd Leslie Wendel (patriarch of the F.L. Wendel family), was on this earth for 79 years. Passed away peacefully at his home in Ann Arbor on January 8, 2021. He was born July 5, 1941: beloved grandson of Floyd William Wendel. Floyd was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Jenkins on July 7, 1962 at St. Ambrose church in Grosse Point Michigan: they spent 59 loving years devoted to one another as husband and wife. Floyd is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann; his children, Michael (Joelle) Wendel, Rodney (Edith) Wendel, Gregory (Sue) Wendel and Leslie Ann Wendel. He was very proud of his 10 grandchildren; Michael, Joshua, Nicholas , Jacob, Jamie, Kaylee, Armando, Ashley, Angel and Patricia. A self-made man who started from a very humble beginning, his accomplishments and achievements far exceeded any of his expectations. Floyd was loving, kind, generous, patient and self disciplined. Floyd worked for Ford Motor Company for 35 years In Vehicle Operations in Dearborn Michigan. His strongest legacy was the love and respect of his family.
